DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo Confirmed Dead; Rescuers found the Body!
After days of searching in the deep shore of Masbate, rescuers finally found Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo.... But the sad news is, he failed to survive the plane crash.
Transportation Secretary Mar Roxas confirmed the untimely tragic death of his fellow cabinet member.
Mar told reporters, "'Yung unang sumabak na mga tech divers 'yung mga puti na nakita natin kahapon, si Matt at ang kanyang team na dalawang babae. At 8:15, kumpirmado na na 'yung isa sa mga katawan ay 'yung kay Sec. Jess Robredo."
Robredo's body has finally been recovered by divers on Tuesday morning 800 meters from the shore of Masbate.
Meanwhile, divers are now in retrieval operations for two other pilots, Captain Jessup Bahinting and Nepalese flight student Kshitiz Chand.
Robredo's aide Don Abrazado is the only survivor in the crash.
