PISTON: Transport Strike set on Sept. 19
The dialogue meeting held Wednesday (Sept. 14) in Malacañang between the militant transport group Piston and President Benigno Simeon Aquino III failed to come up a better solution and concrete answers on the Oil Deregulation Law and the fuel price rollback.
The government warned the transport group about their franchise obligations and legal consequences for the upcoming nationwide strike.
Groups not joining in the upcoming transport strike are Pasang Masda, LTOP at Fedjodap.
