Making a mark in his acting career is Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca  as he is now ready to unveil his first gay role for  in ABS-CBN's “Maalaala Mo Kaya”. [Watch the trailer below]

In the “Spain” episode of MMK, Jake will be playing the life story of “Louie,” a Filipino transgender in Spain who strived hard to gain his father’s love. The episode is an inspiring story about how acceptance and forgiveness brought the relationship of a father and son even closer.

Cast includes Ricky Davao, Malou de Guzman, Vivian Velez and directed by Dado Lumibao.

Airing this Saturday, October 15 -- This special “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode is a part of a month-long celebration for the show's 20th anniversary.
